Saturday at Borders, I had a man tell me I have "pretty toes" that are "dangerous to a man with a foot fetish".

Today I am grateful for:
1. My amazing family, whom I always find interesting and who are always up to fun things.
2. The fact that I have a job that affords me a place to live, food to eat, gas for my car, and the occasional CD.
3. The people that God has put in my life to remind me of important truths just when I need to hear them.
4. Ice cream.
5. LOST on DVD.

7. Good books and movies and music. They feed me emotionally.
8. Coworkers with whom I have real relationships.
9. A long-awaited pregnancy (not my own).

Things I'm raving on:
1. HBO's series "Rome" (on DVD). Holy Moley is this a great show. The roommate and I have been watching it courtesy of Netflix, and it's killing me that I have to wait another week for Season 2 to come out on DVD. (Warning: it's very graphic, in every sense of the word.)
2. "Hairspray". I want to live in this musical.
3. "The Mezzanine", the new CD by The Nobility (formerly Jetpack UK). It's really fun.
4. The Williamson County Fair, which starts tomorrow. This is my Uncle Dave's baby. It's in its third year, and we will once again be selling Icees. Hopefully this year I'll yet again have plenty of fun stories to share.
5. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. There's nothing more I can say here about that.
