I was watching TV this morning while doing, well, nothing really (it is a holiday), and Nashville was lucky enough to gain the following exposure:
1. Ben Folds on the View
2. Leann Womack and
3. The Loveless Cafe Biscuit Lady on Ellen
4. This fabulous news item, which cancels out any ground we may have gained with the others in our fight against the redneck image.

Yeah ... well ... all of that seems to pale when compared to the "alleged" (See? I'm only an engineer, but I can play the legal game.) acts of our sterling Tennessee legislators. Talk about giving Tennessee a black eye! And don't even get me started about our glorious Lieutenant Governor.
True...
I just always assume politicians in every state are corrupt, and it's just our turn. Definitely doesn't help our image, though.
My first thought was 34-16= 18. Could've been worse.
It would have been 15 in Alabama.
